Artist's Description
This classic black and white photo of an old staircase is a timeless piece of art deco architecture. It was an unplanned shot that I took when I got off on the wrong floor. The intricate details of the stairs, from the iron banisters to the ornate railing, are a perfect example of the beauty of interior design. The monochromatic color scheme creates a sense of nostalgia, as if the photo were taken in a bygone era. The photo captures the essence of art deco architecture. Whether hung in a hallway or displayed on a mantelpiece, this photo is sure to bring a touch of timeless style and mystery to any room.
About Onedayoneimage Photography
A lot of my art photos feature the twenty years that I spent in New York City. The big apple is such a bustling, fast moving place and if you don't slow down the moments just pass you by. Thankfully my love for photography allowed me to do just that through the years. It's was a joy to take in those details that would otherwise go unnoticed. The quest to capture my surroundings started much earlier though, when I was given my first camera at age nine. My initial and reluctant subject was my beloved and photogenic Irish Setter who tried to escape the clicking machine. These days my tools have changed but my passion to create images has not diminished. I share these moments with you and I hope you find a piece that sparks your imagination...
