Coney Island in Brooklyn is the epitome of leisure and amusement. The park and area are commonly known as America's Playground.

This art piece beautifully captures the island's aura at dusk featuring riders upside down on the park's newest hair raising roller coaster. In addition to that, you can see the towering splendor of the historic old parachute ride in the distance. Captured on a bustling summer afternoon in Coney Island close to sunset, this photograph was artistically manipulated to create a pop art effect; however, the color variations from the light at twilight still remain. New York City is bustling, fast moving place and if you don't slow down the moments just pass you by. Thankfully my love for photography has allowed me to do just that through the years.
